 Good luck to the JV and Varsity Girls basketball players as they play Lake Linden tonight @ home. 

 Seniors… Class meeting in which decisions are going to be made!  Wednesday @ 12:15.  Be there!

 The Marine Recruiter will be here at lunch today in room 208.  If you are interested, bring your lunch & learn more about the Marines.

 This is the last day to add or drop a class.

 There will be an International Club meeting after school on Wednesday. All members who are traveling in June should be there.

 Students planning to attend Gogebic next year should pick up a scholarship application in the Guidance Office.

 There will be a TRiO Upward Bound meeting TODAY from 3:30 – 5:30 at L’Anse High School’s cafetorium.  Interested freshman and sophomore students are invited to participate.  Transportation will be provided by UB staff to and from the meeting.  Please wait by the benches near the Principal’s Office at the end of the school day for a staff member if you would like to attend.

 Congrats to the JV Boys basketball team as they beat Hancock last night!

 Junior Prom Committee-Meeting Wednesday January 11^th @ noon in Mrs. Reinch’s room.  Bring your lunch. 

 Attention HS Bowlers: Practice is at the Lanes this week.

 Seniors:  See Mr. Rundman for the web link to apply for the Dell Scholars Program.  The deadline is January 13th.

 Students interested in a two-week summer writing program at Kenyon College in Lower Michigan, should see Mr. Rundman for more details.

 There will be a FREE Snowmobile Safety Education Course Saturday, January 21^st from 9am-4pm.  Any student ages 10 and up are invited to attend the free class. Pre-registration is recommended, please call Tom LaTendresse at 353-6458 and leave a message with the students name and phone #. 

 Seniors interested in starting a career as an iron worker should see Mr. Rundman for details about the Ironworkers Local Union 8 Apprenticeship Opportunity.  There will be meetings on the weekend of January 13/14 in Marquette for interested students.

 Seniors interested in pursuing a college degree in Business, or Technology & Design in Finland, see Mr. Rundman for more information.  There is no tuition in Finland.

 REMINDER TO ALL STUDENTS: Any student with an outstanding athletic fines/equipment is ineligible to participate in any games until the matter is resolved.
