Durwyn (D.J.) Chaudier is the Baraga High School Student of the Week. D.J. is the son of Durwyn Chaudier and Aimee Emery, both of Baraga. D.J. has participated in high school basketball for four years, and was involved in the Hi-Five mentoring program. He’s also involved with Rez Runners basketball through the KBIC. In his spare time D.J. enjoys lifting heavy weights and hanging out with friends.
D.J. is a quiet, kind, unassuming student who works hard to accomplish his goals. His kindness is on display as he is always looking out for others, and trying to help those who need it. In sports, not only does D.J. compete to the best of his ability, he shows outstanding sportsmanship at all times. In the fall, D.J. will be pursuing a degree in Elementary Education at Northern Michigan University. Congratulations D.J.!
