President, Mr. Bryon Sailor

Board member since 1997

Mr. Sailor has been a resident of Baraga for the last 24 years. He retired from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and currently has his own consulting forester business. He has two sons that graduated from Baraga School system.

Vice-President, Mr. Gale Eilola 

Board member since 1998

Mr. Eilola is a lifelong resident of Pelkie. He attended Baraga Schools and graduated with the class of 1971. He married Barbara Vizina of Baraga. They have four children, three have graduated from Baraga School system and one is still attending. He has been involved with community leadership since a teenager. Mr. Eilola is heavily involved in local government, local and regional educational boards and committees.

Secretary, Dr. Anni Gregor

Board member since 1996

Dr. Gregor has lived in Baraga County for thirty years with four children graduating from the Baraga School system. She holds a Masters in the Social Work degree and a Doctorate in Education. She has also been a counselor for the Baraga County Juvenile Court for the past 30 years.

Treasurer, Mr. Brennan Bedner 

Board member since 1999

A resident of Baraga County for over twenty years, he and his wife have two children. He grew up in McMurray, PA and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from West Virginia University. He has also served on many district committees in the past and is currently serving on the finance committee. He is an active member of the Baraga Township Lions Club, and Bay Ambulance Board of Trustees.

Trustee, Mr. William Jondreau 

Board member since 2003

He is a life-long resident of the Baraga area and an alumnus of Baraga High School. After Baraga High School, he graduated from NMU with a BS Degree in criminal justice. He has been employed with the Michigan Department of Corrections for the past 17 years, serving as the Assistant Deputy Warden at the facility. He is also involved in various other activities within the community including Baraga County Little League, Baraga Fire Department, Baraga Youth Football, Baraga Youth Basketball and various committees with the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community. He and his wife Roberta "Bucki" Jondreau have two children, both are currently enrolled in the elementary school.

Trustee, Ms. Diane Mayo 

Board member since 2006

She has been a resident of Baraga for over thirty years. She, with her husband, have two daughters, Leah and Alexandria. Leah graduated from Baraga High School and is currently employed at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.  Alex is currently attending Baraga High School and is a member of the class of 2012.  Diane is employed as an Executive Assistant at Superior National Bank and Trust Company, and has worked at the bank for twenty nine-years.

Trustee, Ms. Sue Skytta 

Board member since 2007

She was born and raised in Baraga and is a 1982 graduate of Baraga High School. She lives in Baraga with her husband, Alan, and two children Megan and Josh Turunen. Megan and Josh both attend BHS. Sue is employed as a Data Analyst at Copper Country Mental Health in Houghton. She enjoys attending BHS Athletic events, especially football and basketball.
