Say Cheese…(A noun, ”the curd of milk separated from the whey and prepared in many ways as a food.”) Elementary students from Baraga Area Schools brought vocabulary words to life today as part of the annual “Elementary Vocabulary Parade.” Students in grades K-6 created their own unique costume that depicted the vocabulary word of their choice. The afternoon event included a parade of elementary students through the high school in their costumes and an ice cream social. The event was a great success as students stretched their imaginations and put their creativity on display in costumes that ranged from mountains to pencils to bridges.
