Four Teams from Baraga attended the Local History Smackdown in Calumet on Thursday, April 22nd. They did a wonderful job demonstrating their knowledge of Local History and had fun participating in the competition with 11 schools from the area.

 

The Baraga teams were coached by Jill Lundgren and Michele Serafin. Forever the Coolest Kid$ took second place in the competition. Team members included- Jade Chaudier, Tashina Emery, Shani Shelifoe and Virginia Shelifoe. Other teams included the Pot Belly Pigs- Gina Magaraggia, Savannah Dakota, Dollcie Webb and Lindsey Cote, The Big Louies- Darcie Frechen, Jessica Whitty and Michelle La Beau & Youngsters Beware- Christine Wilson, Corey Pietila, Rebecca Larson & Kevin Maskill.
