Diploma

A diploma is an official completing and passing the Michigan Merit Curriculum (MMC) that is required for high school graduation.

If you left school with multiple credits, and aspire to further your education, this may be the track for you.

Currently at this time MMC classes are strictly online using the Edgenuity LMS system. Students will need to be able to access the internet when not at our facility.

GED

The GED is comprised of 4 tests that need to be passed at a GED testing center at BACS.  The 4 areas of study are in Mathematical Reasoning, Reasoning through Language Arts, Science and Social Studies.

A GED signifies that you have an equivalent level of knowledge compared to a high school graduate, without actually having graduated high school.  GED stands for the General Educational Development Test.  If you are 18 or older, left school with few credits and looking to enter the workforce, this is the track for you.

Currently The GED program is a combination that can take place in a book or on a computer. For those who don't have access to the internet we will help you at our facilities.
