Baraga Area Community Schools (BACS) proudly celebrated the graduation of four Alternative High School students and four Adult Education graduates on May 23, 2025, at Baraga High School. The event was a meaningful milestone for students, families, and staff alike.
Three of the students chose to walk during the ceremony, giving the school community the chance to honor their achievements in person—a moment that was both heartwarming and inspiring.
Because BACS operates on a unique academic calendar running July 1 through June 30, the graduation count continues to grow. Just yesterday, another adult student earned their GED, bringing the current total to nine graduates so far this year, with more expected over the summer.
"This is a fantastic group of students," said BACS staff. "We’re incredibly proud of every one of them."
