Both girls this season have worked hard in the classroom and on the course.
At the UP Finals Ellie ran against 39 other High School girls to place 15th. She become 1 of 3 girls in Baraga's current history of Cross Country to ever place in the UPs.
Younger sister Elisa is also making a name for herself as well with many 1st and 2nds this season - however at this year's Middle School Regional event she ran against 93 girls and placed 9th overall.
