THURSDAY’S LUNCH:  Ham & Cheese on a whole grain bun, oven fries, celery sticks, applesauce, 1% milk.

Any Junior interested in helping with Senior breakfast please sign up in the high school office by the end of the day on Friday, May 24th.

Reminder to send all seniors to Mrs. Klein’s room today at 11:00 for a quick meeting.

There is no culinary today, Thursday, May 23rd.

There are exam exemption forms on the counter in the High School Office.  Seniors must have them turned in by Friday, May 24th.  All other students must have them turned in by Friday, May 31st.

High School Students- Please turn in your signed schedules and EDPs ASAP! See Mrs. Serafin if you need another form.  

Middle School Student of the Week for May 13-17 is Brayden Sauvola.  Brayden is polite and friendly. He always says hi when seeing me in the hallway or checks to see how things are going. He volunteers in the classroom and is very helpful. Even on a bad day, Brayden will be honest, which is a great trait to have. He is having a great year!

High School Student of the Week for May

13-17 is Allison Durant.  Allison has been a very motivated student during 4th quarter. She has accepted challenges in the classroom and thrown herself into finding creative solutions. Allison has especially been engaged in engineering and creative thinking challenges such as structure design and building, and designing and building an Underwater ROV from using pipes and motors. Keep up the great work and level of engagement, Allison! You’re Viking Strong! 

The Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) is looking for current 9th – 11th grade students interested in attending a Youth Leadership Conference in Mt. Pleasant June 21st – 23rd.  Some scholarships are available to cover costs.  If you are interested, please email Sierra Bishop at by Friday, May 24th.

Reminder – The Segment II Drivers Education class is being held during lunch in the shop. 

All Athletes – Stop in the high school office to add your name to the sign-up sheet if you want to receive your athletic certificates. 

Senior Athletes – Senior athlete forms are available on the counter in the high school office.  Please stop in and pick one up.  

The Class of 2021 has Cookie Dough for sale.

The 7th grade class is selling Viking t-shirts.  They are $12 each or 2 for $20.  They will be available in Helen’s room.

There is after school tutoring with Mrs. Heikkinen Monday through Thursday until 5:00 in Ms. Crittenden’s room. 

There is after school tutoring for grades 6-12 Monday through Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30 at the KBOCC in room 111.
