Announcements for BAS

LUNCH:

Monday – Chicken tenders, waffles w/syrup, green beans, pears, 1% milk

Tuesday – Quesadilla, Spanish rice with corn, mandarin oranges, 1% milk

Wednesday – Lasagna roll, garlic bread, carrots, mixed fruit, 1% milk

Thursday – Mini corn dogs, bag of chips, cucumbers, pears, 1% milk

Friday – Cheese pizza, red peppers, applesauce, whole grain cookie, 1% milk

Those taking from the salad bar must wear gloves.  The gloves are provided near the plates and the gloves must be thrown away at the end of the salad bar line.

There will be After-School Tutoring on Mondays and Tuesdays.  Mondays will be in the computer lab with Ms. Collins from 3:30-5:00 and Tuesdays will be in Ms. Crittenden’s room from 3:30 – 5:00. 

Any students that are failing 2 or more classes will be required to attend lunchtime Homework Help on Monday/Wednesday with Ms. Crittenden in Room 216. Grades will be checked weekly for all middle/high schoolers. If you are on the list at the beginning of the week, you will be required to attend on BOTH Monday/Wednesday.

If you haven’t already returned your completed beginning of the year paperwork please do so ASAP.

There is a sign-up sheet on the counter in the high school office for varsity softball.  Please sign-up if you are interested in playing.

The Medical Laboratory Science Program Director at Michigan Tech will be here to meet with any high school students that may be interested in the health/medical field on February 10th during 2nd hour in Ms. Lake's room.  Come hear about what really goes on:)

Ms. Crittenden will have afterschool tutoring on Wednesday, January 5th, instead of Tuesday, January 4th this week.

 

STUDENT OF THE WEEK:   December 13 – 17, 2021

Middle School - Neveah L. has done a great job making work plans, staying on task, and working through frustration when she has been asked to "try again". She has been willing to work through some tough assignments while giving it her best shot.  She has been very respectful and makes class enjoyable for those around her.  Nice Job Neveah. 

High School - Reide O. is a motivated student who works hard at what she does. This year Reide has made an effort to improve her work and her test scores, and she has indeed consistently improved throughout the year. Reide leads both vocally and by example. She is actively engaged in class, and pushes others to improve as well. Keep up the good work and positive attitude, Reide! Viking Strong!
