LUNCH:

Monday – Soft taco, Corn, apple, 1% milk

Tuesday – Cheeseburger, oven fries, peaches, 1% milk

Wednesday – Submarine sandwich, carrot sticks, fresh fruit, 1% milk

Thursday – Mini corn dogs, tater tots, pears, 1% milk

Friday – Pizza, carrot sticks, apple, rice krispy treat, 1% milk

Those taking from the salad bar must wear gloves.  The gloves are provided near the plates and the gloves must be thrown away at the end of the salad bar line.

Students MUST return their lunch trays to the cafeteria every day.  The commons area will be off limits to students unless there is adult supervision.

After-School tutoring:

  • Mondays with Ms. Cavanaugh in the computer lab
  • Tuesdays with Mr. Brown in Rm. 222
  • Wednesdays with Mrs. McElroy in Rm. 216
  • Thursdays with Mrs. DeShambo in Rm. 211

 

STUDENT OF THE WEEK:   

MS:

Jadyn C. is always on time for class and is prepared, attentive, and participates in classroom discussions.  She is hardworking and diligent student who cares deeply about her academic success.  Furthermore, she has a tremendous amount of respect for her teachers, her peers and her school.  She exemplifies the meaning of Viking Strong.

 

HS:

Christina A. is always on task and takes pride in her work.  She is quiet and respectful in the classroom.  Christina is a great example of Viking Strong.

 

Ms. Crittenden will be gone in the afternoon today.

The Inter-Residence Housing Council at Michigan Tech is bringing back Safe House! We are inviting kids in the community to come to campus to trick-or-treat and enjoy some activities put on by residence hall students. Wear your costume and come to campus for an afternoon of fun. Park in Lot 14 or Lot 9 and go to Douglass Houghton Hall, Wadsworth Hall, and McNair Hall to get some treats. Saturday, October 29th from 1-4 p.m. or for additional information involvement.mtu.edu/organization/IRHC

Copper Country Ski Tigers is dedicated to introducing youth, ages 5-18, in the Copper Country to the joy of nordic skiing in order to encourage a lifelong love of the sport and respect and appreciation for the outdoors.

Tonight is the Halloween Dance! Middle School dance is from 7 – 8:30 and the High School is from 8:30 – 10!  Admission is $5.  Come out and dance!!
