dec 15-19 crafting activities available at the Niiwin Akeaa Center from 3-4:30
This past month, Digital art class created Ojibwe floral Viking shirts. The shirts were made possible with support and supplies from KBIC Promise Neighborhoods. Students learned about Ojibwe floral designs and the art motifs of the woodland tribes. They created their own designs and then chose a winner as a class. Students will be able to "purchase" the shirts with their Ike and Oskar tickets (PLES), or with their signature cards (MS & HS).
